FAQ
DO YOU SHIP? Yes, we currently ship within the continental United States. During hot summer months, we may choose to only ship Mon-Wed to insure that your package is not held up in shipping warehouses. Please make sure the recipient is home to receive the package in a timely manner.
WHERE ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE? Our candles are hand poured here in beautiful Savannah, GA! We are a small batch candle company. We let our candles "cure" for 5-7 days before shipping. This helps the fragrance "marry" or "bind" with the wax. At times, some stock may deplete. Check back in 7-10 days and more product should be available! If you are unsure, just send us a message and we can give you a more specific restock date!
DO YOU USE ESSENTIAL OILS? All of our candle fragrances are curated and blended to give you the best overall experience. Some of our fragrances do contain essential oils. Any essential oil ingredients will be listed in the description of the candle located on the product page itself.
WHAT KIND OF WICK DO YOU USE? We use braided all natural cotton core and paper core wicks. Our wicks are lead free.
WHAT KIND OF WAX IS USED TO MAKE THE CANDLES?. We use a special parasoy blend. Our blended wax formula contains a combination of soy wax and food grade paraffin wax.
CAN MY WAX MELTS BE USED TO REFILL MY VESSEL? Unfortunately no. We use two completely different types of waxes. (Container Wax & Pillar/Tart Wax). The viscosity of both waxes is totally different. Melt or "Tart" wax is much harder and is designed to be used in a wax melt warmers. Container wax is softer and designed to be used with wicks in a container or vessel.
WHY IS THERE WAX COLLECTING ON THE SIDES OF MY CANDLE? It is normal for wax to collect on the sides of the container. Typically the wax will conform and melt down during consecutive burnings. Candle vessels will get hotter the closer they burn towards the bottom of the vessel. You can maintain an even burn by keeping your candle out of drafts and away from fans. We suggest maintaining a 3hr burn cycle each time. Shorter burn cycles may increase "tunneling".
WHY IS MY CANDLE SMOKING? Smoke is created when the flame of the candle is unable to properly burn all the fuel (in the form of vaporized wax) efficiently due to a lack of oxygen. The result of this incomplete combustion is sooty carbon, as opposed to typical water and carbon dioxide. This is can be cause by several factors: Failure to trim the wick to 1/4" or less, drafts or fans, failure to previously extinguish properly, or self wick trimming when a candle has burned for more than 2-3 hours. If your candle appears to have a large "mushroom", "soot", or "smoke", try extinguishing your candle and re-trimming the wick to less than 1/4".
